It was a teenage dream to once do a bicycle trip in winter time. In 2005 I had a wonderful travel destination across the Alps: my girlfriend in Zagreb. I went off, being hosted by many Couch-surfers. I did cheat on crossing the alps. My host offered me a ride after a charity night with lots of alcohol. I accepted. Still it was a unusual feeling of wonder and bliss when I entered Zagreb after some 10 days of winter cycling.
